2.1 Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase of, access to, and use of services offered by CKR Solutions LLC DBA Your Family Legacy. By clicking an acceptance box, submitting payment, creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the website or platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, the Refund Policy, Billing Inquiry Policy, Service-Limitations Disclaimer, Support Policy, and Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the service.
2.2 Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you purchase or use the service for another person or entity, you represent that you have lawful authority to do so and to provide any information submitted. The service is intended for lawful personal use in the United States unless we expressly state otherwise.
2.3 Definitions
- "Platform" means the self-guided online document technology made available under the Your Family Legacy brand through a third-party provider.
- "Plan Package" means paid access to a will-based or revocable living trust-based workflow and the features identified at checkout.
- "Generated Documents" means outputs created by the Platform from information and selections submitted by the customer.
- "Support" means account, access, navigation, and technical assistance. Support does not include completing questionnaires or providing individualized professional advice.
2.4 Nature and scope of the service
Your purchase is for access to a self-guided technology platform and the administrative and technical services expressly described at checkout. The Platform may provide automated workflows, general explanations, document assembly, instructions, dashboards, and digital storage or delivery features. Platform features and document availability may vary by state, customer circumstances, package, or provider requirements.
CKR does not guarantee that a particular Plan Package or Generated Document is appropriate for you. We may decline, suspend, or discontinue support when a request would require us to make a substantive decision, interpret law, apply rules to personal facts, select or customize documents, or provide advice outside the stated service scope.
2.5 Self-guided process and customer control
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You, not CKR, choose whether to begin, continue, or stop a platform workflow.
- You enter, review, and submit your own information and responses directly through the Platform.
- CKR staff will not choose or recommend answers, enter answers for you, change your responses, select beneficiaries or fiduciaries, determine distributions, or tell you which document or strategy to use.
- Any automated suggestion, workflow, or output is generated by the Platform from information you provide; it is not a recommendation made by CKR.
- You must review names, addresses, dates, relationships, property descriptions, fiduciary appointments, distribution instructions, and all other information before signing or using any document.
- You must promptly correct inaccurate information through available platform tools or contact technical support if a platform function is not working.
2.6 No attorney-client or other professional relationship
CKR Solutions LLC DBA Your Family Legacy is not a law firm. CKR personnel are not acting as your attorney, tax adviser, financial adviser, investment adviser, insurance adviser, fiduciary, trustee, personal representative, or other licensed professional through this service. Your purchase, communications, support requests, and use of the Platform do not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, confidential-adviser, or other professional relationship. Communications with CKR are not protected by attorney-client privilege.
General educational material is not a substitute for advice from an attorney or another appropriately licensed professional who can consider your individual circumstances. If you need advice, interpretation, customized drafting, document review, tax analysis, asset-protection planning, benefits planning, deed preparation, or representation, consult a qualified professional before acting.
2.7 Matters that require independent professional review
The Platform may not be suitable for every person or situation. You should seek independent professional advice when your circumstances include, without limitation:
- A blended family, disinheritance, family conflict, suspected undue influence, or questions about mental capacity.
- A beneficiary with a disability, public-benefits eligibility, special-needs planning, or long-term-care or Medicaid concerns.
- Business ownership, farms, intellectual property, substantial retirement assets, complex debt, creditor concerns, or assets located outside the United States.
- Estate, gift, generation-skipping, income-tax, or other tax-planning concerns.
- Irrevocable trusts, asset-protection strategies, charitable planning, premarital agreements, postmarital agreements, or contested matters.
- Real-estate transfers, deed preparation, title questions, community-property questions, or property located in more than one state.
- Any uncertainty about document selection, legal effect, signing requirements, trust funding, or whether the generated documents carry out your wishes.
2.8 Generated documents, signing, and implementation
Generated Documents are based entirely on the data, selections, and confirmations submitted through the Platform. They may have no effect until they are properly reviewed, signed, witnessed, notarized, delivered, recorded, or funded in accordance with applicable requirements. A revocable living trust generally requires appropriate assets to be transferred or otherwise coordinated with the trust to achieve intended results. CKR does not prepare deeds, transfer property, change titles or beneficiaries, act as a witness or notary as part of the Plan Package, fund trusts, file documents with a court or government office, or verify that implementation was completed unless a separate written service expressly states otherwise.
You are responsible for following current signing and implementation requirements, keeping original documents secure, providing copies to appropriate persons, and reviewing your plan after changes in family, finances, residence, property, health, or applicable rules. Do not delay seeking professional help because of the Platform or a pending support request.
2.9 Fees, pricing, and payment authorization
You authorize the amount displayed at checkout to be charged to the payment method you provide. Pricing generally averages $596 for a will-based Plan Package and $1,600 for a revocable living trust-based Plan Package, but the exact price, included features, currency, promotions, taxes, and any payment schedule shown at checkout control your purchase. Unless checkout expressly identifies a recurring subscription, a Plan Package purchase is a one-time transaction.
Fees compensate CKR for platform access, account administration, general educational resources, and technical or platform support. Fees do not purchase legal representation or individualized professional advice. Third-party costs such as attorney review, tax advice, financial advice, notarization, witnesses, recording, certified copies, postage, deed preparation, or government charges are not included unless expressly stated in writing.
2.10 Digital delivery and access
Digital fulfillment begins promptly after successful payment. Access is considered delivered when an invitation, login credential, activation link, or other access method is sent to the email or contact information supplied at purchase, or when the account is activated, whichever occurs first. You are responsible for providing a correct email address, checking spam or junk folders, maintaining access to your email, and promptly reporting access problems.
2.11 All-sales-final and cancellation terms
Because digital platform access and licensed content become available at or promptly after purchase and cannot be returned, all Plan Package sales are final and nonrefundable once access is issued or activated, even if you do not log in, do not complete the workflow, change your mind, fail to provide information, miss a personal deadline, decide to use another provider, or do not use all available features. Exceptions apply only when required by law or under the limited correction terms stated in the Refund Policy for a duplicate charge, incorrect amount, or an activation failure caused solely by CKR or the Platform that remains unresolved after reasonable troubleshooting.
One-time purchases cannot be canceled after digital delivery. If a purchase is expressly identified as recurring, the cancellation method and effective date shown at checkout or in the applicable subscription terms control future charges; cancellation does not retroactively refund access already delivered.
2.12 Billing questions and payment disputes
Before submitting a billing dispute or chargeback to a bank, card issuer, payment service, or other financial institution, you agree to make a good-faith effort to contact CKR at frenchonrencher@ckrsolutionsllc.com, identify the transaction and concern, and allow a reasonable opportunity, generally up to 10 business days, for investigation and response. This process helps address duplicate charges, amount errors, access issues, or an unfamiliar statement descriptor. Do not email a full payment-card number or security code.
If you submit a payment dispute, CKR may provide the payment processor, financial institution, or card network with records relevant to the transaction, including the checkout disclosures, your acceptance of these Terms, order confirmation, access-delivery records, login or usage records, support history, communications, and refund policy. Nothing in these Terms waives a right that applicable law or binding card-network rules do not permit you to waive. If you reasonably believe a charge is fraudulent because your payment credentials were stolen or used without authority, contact your financial institution promptly and notify CKR so we can secure the related account.
2.13 Account security
You must keep credentials confidential, use accurate account information, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by law. Do not share platform access beyond any spouse, partner, or participant expressly included in your Plan Package. CKR may suspend access to protect customers, investigate misuse, comply with provider requirements, address a payment dispute, or protect platform security.
2.14 Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or harmful activity.
- Provide information you do not have authority to use or impersonate another person.
- Copy, resell, sublicense, publish, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass, or commercially exploit the Platform, templates, workflows, or educational materials except as expressly permitted.
- Upload malware, interfere with security, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated tools that burden the Platform.
- Use a Plan Package to prepare documents for unrelated third parties or operate a document-preparation or professional-advice business.
2.15 Intellectual property and customer information
CKR, the Platform provider, and their licensors retain all rights in the website, platform, software, workflows, templates, branding, and educational materials. Subject to these Terms and full payment, you receive a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the Platform and Generated Documents for the personal purposes covered by your Plan Package. You retain rights in the information you submit. You grant CKR and the Platform provider permission to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and use that information only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and administer the service and as described in applicable privacy notices.
2.16 Third-party platform and services
The service depends on third-party technology, hosting, payment processing, communications, identity or security tools, and other providers. Those providers may have additional terms and privacy practices. CKR does not control every third-party feature and is not responsible for interruptions, changes, errors, acts, or omissions outside its reasonable control. We may replace, update, or discontinue third-party components when reasonably necessary.
2.17 No guarantees
CKR does not guarantee that the Platform or any Generated Document will be error-free, uninterrupted, accepted by a court or institution, effective in every circumstance, suitable for your goals, or sufficient to avoid probate, reduce taxes, protect assets, preserve benefits, prevent disputes, or produce any particular result. Outcomes depend on your information, decisions, execution, implementation, later events, applicable rules, and the actions of third parties.
2.18 Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE, PLATFORM, SUPPORT, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, AND GENERATED DOCUMENTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." CKR DISCLAIMS EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, SECURITY, AND UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS, SO THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED.
2.19 Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CKR AND ITS OWNERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF DATA, USE, PROFITS, OPPORTUNITY, OR EXPECTED BENEFITS; OR COSTS ARISING FROM CUSTOMER ERRORS, MISSED DEADLINES, FAILURE TO SIGN OR FUND, THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS, OR PLATFORM INTERRUPTION. CKR'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM A PARTICULAR PURCHASE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO CKR FOR THAT PURCHASE. THIS LIMIT DOES NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR CKR'S FRAUD, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE WHERE APPLICABLE.
2.20 Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CKR and its owners, managers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, your submission of information without authority, or your infringement of another person's rights. This section does not require you to indemnify CKR for CKR's own fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence.
2.21 Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, chargeback, fraud risk, security concerns, unlawful or prohibited use, violation of these Terms, provider requirements, or conduct that threatens customers or the service. Termination does not eliminate payment obligations or provisions that by their nature survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, dispute terms, and indemnification. Where practical, you should download available completed documents before access ends.
2.22 Electronic communications
You consent to receive transaction, account, support, security, policy, and document-status communications electronically at the contact information you provide. Electronic records and signatures may satisfy written notice and signature requirements to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current.
2.23 Informal resolution, governing law, and venue
Before filing a lawsuit concerning the service, you and CKR agree, to the extent permitted by law, to send written notice describing the dispute and requested resolution to the other party and allow 30 days for a good-faith attempt to resolve it. Notices to CKR must be emailed to frenchonrencher@ckrsolutionsllc.com with the subject line "Formal Dispute Notice." These Terms are governed by South Carolina law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, exclusive venue lies in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina. Nothing in this section eliminates non-waivable rights or prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief for misuse, security, or intellectual-property harm.
2.24 Changes to the service or Terms
We may update the service or these Terms to reflect operational, provider, security, or regulatory changes. The version presented and accepted at the time of purchase governs that purchase unless you later accept updated terms or applicable law requires otherwise. Material changes affecting ongoing access may be communicated electronically. Continuing to use the service after an effective update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
2.25 General provisions
If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your account or rights without CKR's written consent; CKR may assign these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the service. These Terms and the policies incorporated by reference constitute the entire agreement concerning the service and supersede prior discussions on the same subject. Headings are for convenience only.
